23. Keep your eyes on the load at all times.
24. Roll wrappers only after load is off and a safe distance away.
25. When loading trailers, never enter inside the support system while the trailer is raised off the ground. The cable-mounted control is for your convenience. Use it wisely.
26. Never exceed the rated load capacity marked on the loader.
27. Self-loaders, find a safe location, away from overhead power lines, to load trailers.
28. If unloaders should be out of service, you will be informed of the alternative unloading procedures.
Unconventional Log Trucks
1. Logs hauled on a unconventional log truck or trailer (flatbed, stock truck, utility trailer, flatbed truck, car hauler, grain truck, etc.) and loads secured with nylon cargo straps, must have at least one cable and chain wrapper on each end of exposed logs.
2. Remove cable wrappers last and release wrappers from driver side only.
Un-Wrapper Station - Columbia Falls
1. Position trailer(s) so that arms are in physical contact with the load.
2. Remove all wrappers while under the protective structure, roll them up and put them away.
3. Get in truck and move forward to the unloading point.
4. When instructed by unloader operator, get out of the cab and stand by front bumper, in clear view of the unloader operator, keeping eyes on the load at all times.
