Plum Creek Builds  New Scale just for us.

 To help out on the Truck traffic trying to weigh in at C.Falls.  Plum Creek has built a new scale over in the Lumber Yard. Instead of going up the hill to the old scale, now we turn right on the truck route and go across the railroad tracks and turn left in to the lumber yard.

. They have put in a new digital platform scale like the one in evergreen.  Once were back on the truck route we turn right on the trailer loader road and go around the trailer loader and to the wrapper puller.

It looks like there will be a few bugs to work out, when a bunch of  us get to the mill at the same time. How many trucks can get in line before were stacked up out on the truck route road? what about the increased truck traffic and the railroad crossings? I know the train only comes and goes twice a day. Also what about getting around the trailer loader loaded, with people unhooking and getting ready to load there trailers?  

Monday, August 16 is the day they want to start using it so we will see how it works out then.
